Excellent opportunity to work at a national practice in London with flexibility and home working. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising and representing clients on a range of property-related disputes, including landlord-tenant disputes, boundary disputes, and property damage claims. The ideal candidate will be able to provide strategic advice to clients and handle complex legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on a range of property disputes, including landlord-tenant disputes, boundary disputes, and property damage claims.
- Representing clients in court and tribunals, and preparing and presenting legal arguments and evidence.
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports.
- Negotiating settlements and mediating disputes where possible.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Keeping up to date with developments in property law and litigation.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with at least 3-5 years post-qualification experience in property litigation.
- In-depth knowledge of property law and litigation, including knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize work effectively.
- Willingness to keep up to date with developments in property law and litigation.
- Experience in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration, is desirable.
